...connection what else would i need to recie? what else do i need to make a conection to my wireless labtop comp with a built in wi-fi?

What do you mean?

Are you trying to connect to a router at your house? Or are you trying to connect to another laptop?

Why did you build a cantenna? Do you need more range for your laptop?

Give more details as to what you are trying to do.
