    Antamedia problems

    This software has always bugs. It will not work properly. I tested almost 10 internet cafes, and try many scenarios. They make every month new versions with new problems. If you chat or mail with them really make fool. They think that Yugoslavia is lawless safe heaven. The way they respond is quiet brutal and do not answer key questions. I prefer opernsource programs - at least save the money.

    Gear Turn off those damn updates then

    Solution:
    Go to the following folder:

    C:\Program Files\Caffe\Updates

    Open Update file and you will see the following:

    [update]
    date=%DATE%
    time=%TIME%

    [custom]
    validatemsg=Version
    validateparam=5.4.0

    [files]
    count=2
    [file1]
    url=%SERVER%\Client.exe_NEW
    [file2]
    url=%SERVER%\ICUpdater.exe_NEW

    [application]
    appname=ICUpdater.exe
    appcomps=ICUpdater.exe_NEW
    silentrestart=1

    Now either just change silentrestart from 1 to 0 (this will stop restarting client computers) or if you want to stop antamedia software updating itself and client files just remove everything except perhaps I'd just leave time and date update function intact which is:

    [update]
    date=%DATE%
    time=%TIME%

    BINGO!
    No more annoying restarts!
