How to find the password to get on a neighbors wireless internet router?

I know how to connect to insecure networks, but is there a way to find the password to get on "secure" networks without asking the person?

BTW, dont say that im stealing or crap. i have my OWN wireless router at home. i would only use this info to get on the internet if i was on vacation or something, so i wouldnt be "stealing" 24/7

Before I tell you what to do please note that you will be stealing if you follow these directions.

Step 1: Try an insecure wireless connection. If there is none, head to step 2.

Step 2: Try leaving the key feild blank

Step 3: What is your neighbor's interests? Make an educated guess on what the key is. For example, if they like video games try videogamelover.

Yes there are programs you can use to get the password.This all depends on the type of security is being used.If it is a WPA PSK network then the program will read the burst of data showing the preshared key.WEP however will require much more work and I doubt you will find any of this software free.

I don't know, but I'm your neighbor-can I have your password, ya know, just for the night, maybe down the road just drop mine, and I connect through yours 24/7?
