How do I hook up my PlayStation 3 to the Internet with a Ethernet Cables

but I am have no luck. Read below? I am trying to hook up my Playstation 3 to the internet and it is asking all of these Questions. Such As what are the DNS, NTU, UPnP, and Proxy Server settings. I have no idea what these things are. I try to run them automatically but it always failed. I even tried to call the Playstation support but no one answered my phone call. Could some please help me I am trying to have this thing figured out so I can play my NCAA Football 09 on it.
