I currently pay for cable internet through cox cable. Thats all that we are signed up for, no tv or anything. So my roommates decide to go outside to the cable box on side of house and take off the filter on the incoming cable line from the ground. Doing that gave us expanded cable. Its been fine for 2 weeks having internet and cable TV but now suddenly the cable stopped working but internet still works. I know its wrong to steal cable tv and this is all my roommates doing, i just wanting to know if cox cable is able to to cut off the cable tv yet still send the internet signal if the filter is off the cable line?

We had basic cable plus when we moved in our house and then we ordered internet and they shut the cable off........but the have people checking that stuff sometimes.......Cox is GAY! lol
