it could just be 2 couples saying bye to eachother becuase 1 and shake and 1 kiss isnt limited to a person. Also, we dont even know if the nieghbor was counting the number of handshakes and kisses given at that specific event. is that right? lol
7 men, 4 women. for handshakes, it is between two men, so it would have be (number of men minus one) and sort of factorial, except adding. so 6 + 5 + 4+ 3 + 2 +1 which is all 21 handshakes. 4 women because 4 times the 7 men is 28, added to the same thing for men which would be 3 + 2 + 1, so 28+6, 34.
