Q on updating Video Card lol !?
Ok already asked this but i think i need to add evennn more info.
I have an intel core 2 duo E6550 processor..
Windows vista sp1
2Gb Ram
200gb of free hard disk space
I want to upgrade my NVIDIA GeForce 7300 to something that can support good games far better...and gives very good graphics. I cant play barely anything at the moment.
My power supply is 300 watts according to online support for my comp.
It also says on that site under Video Graphics:
Integrated graphics using Intel GMA 3100
Also supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards*
NOTE: *Either integrated graphics or the PCI Express x16 slot are usable at one time; they are not usable concurrently.
What does this mean ??
On Nvidia's site it says i can go for the GeForce 9400 GT, GeForce 8600 GT, GeForce 8500 GT or GeForce 8400 GS if i only can handle 300 watts.
Which one of these is best for graphics ??
Thankyou for any help!!
The GeForce 8600 GT says graphic performane is 6.6x & the 9400 GT is only 3.2x..
So is the 8600 better ?
