My sister has acting really funny..can her meds be to blame?
So my sister has anxiety, depression, and now she has a bad back. For the last few months she has been on medication prescribed by her doctor. I called and talked to her yesterday and it really sounded like she was drunk. She was slightly slurring her words and sounded really weird. She was all there mentally, and just said she was tired. She is only 26 years old too. My mom said that she slept all night last night, yet still falls asleep sitting up, and sometimes even standing!!! These symptoms are very new, so I don't see how they can be her meds when she has been on the medication for months now! The list of meds she is on is:
Cogentin
Mobik- for her back
Buspar- anxiety- 10mg
Lexapro
Abilfy
All of these meds are really low doses, and she has been feeling better up until now. Any ideas???
Whether or not this matters, I guess she's been having alot of heartburn lately too.
