I Just Have To Know...???
...in the 'Cask of Amontillado/Black Cat' sequence, in the 1962 Edgar Allen Poe based horror/comedy anthology, "Tales of Terror", Vincent Price plays a renowned wine connesieur (...definetely didn't spell THAT right!!). In the film, he has a wine-tasting challenge against Peter Lorre's character. Now, there is a lot of humor to the scene, especially in watching the way Vincent Price swizzles and swallows the various wine, with some of the funniest facial expressions. My question is, is wine tasting actually conducted this way, in real life, or was Vincent just making that up, or perhaps exaggerating what is actually done???
