Boy trouble...lol....?

ok so im in 8th grade (so think from a 13 year old's point of view)

ever since school started, a lot of guys have been talking to me lately and kind of flirting. i havent changed much over the sumer but idk. theres one guy though who has driven me crazy though. 3 years ago he asked me to be his valentine (i said no and i regret it) and every now and then he says hi...but its weird. jut randomly when hes talking to his friends he will look over to me from like 20 feet away and call my name and say hi. i ay hi back and then we just move on. and sometimes when i walk past him in the hallway, he opens up his arms for a hug (i usually give him a hug)...im not sure if he likes me and im not sure if i like him. its complicated. hes kind of a jerk to some other girls, and so idk wat i think about that. does he like me or is he just being flirty?

i get butterflies when i see him (hes very cute) and i act stupid when im around him (i get nervous). im always aware of him at all times. im not sure if i like him though because i know he can be a jerk.

Q #1: does he like me?

Q #2: do i like him?

Yeah he definiely likes you. If he gives you attention over other girls then you're in, and if he's nicer to you than other girls then you're in.

I don't know if i can tell you if you like him or not that's for you to decide but you do seem pretty taken by him. some would say attracted. or smitten. So yeah you do like him in my opinion

Yes, he likes. Exactly like that, wouldn't be surprised if we lived in in the same town. He is a loser, you don't need him. Are you developing? Guys are pigs, n girls like the attention-

Guys around that age is when they normally start liking girls, so dont think youve changed or anything.
If he just randomly says hi to you from across the quad at lunch, he could very much like you, or he could just be a friendly person.
If he's very outgoing, then it might just be a hello.
If he's a jerk to most girls, like you said, he could like you.

Just hang out with him a lot, get to know him
Whether you like him or not is your own decision.

do you like him? only u can answer that...sounds to me though you are obssesed with him...hence the reason youre writing about him..obvoiosuly u cant stop thinking about him...not to mention getting nervous around him.

does he like you? im sure he does...most likely though its only a physical like - doesnt sound like you are great fun from the interactions youve explained.

How would we know if you liked him? Only you can know forsure. If you need to ask us whether or not you like him, I would think you really don't and if you do, then you have to look inside your heart and you will find the answer.

Does he like you? I don't know, you would have to ask him. Anything is possible.

It sounds to me like you like each other. Before you act on those feelings, you should really examine how you feel about him being a jerk. He's not mean to you now, but imagine how he'd act if you guys DID get together and had a fight or broke up. One time when you see him being an a-hole to another chick, try to ask him why he was so harsh. See how he responds. Just make sure you don't put up with any BS from him. Demand respect.
