I have a 4 ohm mini stero system and an 8 ohm CD changer. CanI use the changer

with the mini stereo system? Thank you!
Wires -- thank you. You answered my question. The units have the line-in and line-out so I will connect them. Neither manual was very clear on what could be connected.

I have not yet been able to figure out how to mark your answer as 'resolved'!! I'm logged in to edit this area . . . that seems to be the only button that works. I tried to click the up-thumb icon on your answer -- it doesn't respond.

If the CD changer has a line out connection and your stereo system a line in, you can connect the changer that way and not worry about the impedance of the speakers. If you don't have line connections, you really need separate speakers. It's not good to have 2 amplifiers connected in parallel as would happen if you connected both amps to the same speakers. If you can't connect the systems together using line levels, use separate speakers for each amp.
