How to make a mono track into a stereo track in Audacity?

I'm trying to remove vocals from a song.

There's no way to make a true stereo track from just one mono track in any program. For true stereo, you must have two distinct channels, one for the left and one for the right. A mono track only has one channel which is shared between the left and right. The vocal remover in Audacity does make a mono track, and there's no way to make it stereo again. Depending on what you're using it for, you may not really need it to be stereo anyway.
