I imported my song as Audio. it says "Importing MP3..."
It comes up, but when i click the drop list, it won't let me click "Split Stereo Track".
HELP ME OUT PLEASE!

How come Audacity won't let me split my MP3 to a stereo track?

click "Stop" then you should be able to split it and add effects. It won't let you do anything when you play it.
