Connecting my DVD recorder to a stereo system?

I recently purchased a little 5.1 home theatre system which basically has 3 twin phono/RCA inputs (6 altogether), but my DVD recorder has only one twin phono/RCA audio output. So I can only have sound coming from two of the speakers. I could use a SCART to RCA adaptor and use my SCART output to connect to the system also, but this would still leave me with two other speakers with no sound. Is there any sort of adaptor or whatever I can use?

Hope you understand my question properly, no technical jargon please. Thanks in advance.
