    Wisdom teeth surgery -no pain?

I haven't had any pain since i got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday afternoon. I haven't experienced any swelling or side effects of any medication. the extraction sites stopped bleeding after about 2 hrs. is this normal? am i just lucky, or is the worst yet to come? also, will i be able to eat soft foods today (ie mashed potatoes) instead of a liquid diet? (i can't open my mouth fully either)

    thanks

This experience is different for everyone, so just consider yourself lucky! Just be careful not to jump into eating solid foods too quickly because your chances of getting an infection will go up. Lucky duck!
