This is fairly weird.

First off, I'm twenty year old male, 6'0 200lbs

I'm decently built for never working out.

Why is it, that when it comes to reps, I cannot lift 40% of my max? I've been going to the gym for two weeks and noticed NOTHING.

My arm feels like a limp noodle, like I can lift it, but I can't. Physicly I can't even push myself to lift it. I NEVER get sore, because I can't do enough reps to benefit from this.

I can curl 100 pounds.. or more..
I can bench 200.. or more..

Yet on the machines, I can barely lift more then women? ( Curl machine in particular )

The benchpress machine.. I can't even do 130 lbs 8times twice?

I'm not fat.. I used to run track and play soccer..

Does cigarettes and smoking weed and drinking beer for two years straight really have this great of an effect on you? I mean I used to have veins in my arms and now I can barely see them..

Tomorrow I'm going to find my exact max in curl and bench.

Any ideas on any of this?
