My Step-Mom, 35 years old, has been diagnozed with grade III sarcoma, specifically myxoidfibrosarcoma, a cancer that likes to spread to the lungs. We talked to a specialist and he said unfortunetly that he has never seen someone survive with it very long. She goes is going to have a second surgury this month that will completely remove all of it from her hip, where it first popped up, including all the lining of her bone the muscle, and skin. Pretty much there scooping out the entire area. This has been extremely hard because the doctor never gave us a clear time frame if worse comes to worse. Does anyone know a rough estimate? It kills me not knowing.
