t is indeed scary. I have had it since I was five years old and now at 19, I still have it. This time it has gotten worse. Now, while in this paralysis, I cannot breathe. It feels as though something is suffocating me. I also had a episode where I was trying to scream and I could hear nothing. I keep my eyes closed because there are "Things" in the room with me, like something evil. While my eyes were closed, something came over and grabbed my hand and touched my face. I squirmed and woke up to find that I was alone and in sweat. When I take naps, I tell my fiancee to watch me. Though he can not hear me scream or see my limbs move, He sees my eyes darting while sleep really crazy and he wakes me up and I wake up like I got out of water. I gasp really loud. Its a scary thing and I have tried every method to stop it including the ones listed above but nothing helps. Its scary sometimes and it takes so long to get out of.
