If I try to run my lower calf (from just above the ankle) start to hurt, it's not a great deal of pain, but if I continue the pain increases, then still increased when I have stopped running and then started walking (although it's more like limping by this stage).

If my leg feels fine, but try to go up the stairs, I can feel it niggling as well. But if I try to isolate the pain and see where it is, I can't feel anything, as if the injury is more than skin deep so to speak.

It's been like this for a few days, I think I did the injury on the treadmill but I'm not 100%. It's not a great deal of pain, but I can't go back to the gym with my leg the way it is as I'll just end up making things worse no doubt.

Going to take a long soak then strap it as best I can for now. Any ideas what it could be?
