My husband is 38 and we have been married for 14 years. I remember even when we first met that he sometimes said his legs hurt and always appreciated a knee/calf massage. Over the years the knee pain worsened. It is to the point now that it is often a blinding pain that is disabling. The pain is *equally* in both legs. It begins at the knees with an excruciating 'stabbing' sensation. He has a "burning/vibrating/pins and needles" sensation down both calves. The pain is always equal between both legs. After visits to a neurologist and rheumatologist they have ruled out arthritis. His x ray of his knees is normal, his bloodwork was normal, and an MRI of his lower back showed nothing. The pain is always there, always equal in both legs, and often completely disabling. When the pain is very bad he breaks out in a rash over his body and will have terrible sweats.

We feel hopeless at this point--doctors offer us nothing since they cannot find anything on their tests.
