Drink some medicine to help the cramps subside. Take some Ibuprofen or Tylenol. Drink warm water and go and take a warm bath. Lay down and rest. Eat some bananas and other fruits. Eat some soup. Anything warm will be great. Good luck and I hope you feel better!
girls usually crave chocolate when they're on their period but i don't know if that helps.
Stay away from anything that contains caffeine (especially chocolate!!)
Eat healthy--fruits, veggies, lean meat... etc. Greasy food will make you feel worse!
Use a heating pad if you have one... ibuprophin is good. Don't take aspirin.
bannana is sposed to help with cramps.. i have the same problem right now.... doesnt help much.
I have very acute period cramps, and I was told not to consume anything with cow's milk in it - there are a lot of female hormones in cow's milk, so it only makes the pain and the periods heavier.
Don't eat food with heavy salt, alcohol or caffeine products - that makes it worse, too.
Fruits and vegetables work well, as do thinks like Weetabix (wheat products).
