a guy on the street in NYc by St. MArks Pl who was selling pipes buubblers and bongs gave me a small round cylinder thats painted to look like a cigarette

on the filter end there is a small hole that looks like it could be to inhale from and on the other end is a small compartment with a hole leading to the chamber

i was thinkin it may b a mini-pipe or something to smoke pot on the street or something, but it seems like it wont have enough time to cool and ull breath in ash which is never fun

anyone no what it is?

(and please no one spend their time telling me marijuana is bad and smoke is bad and stuff because I know... I'm just curious about this thing)

It's a 'one-hitter'. They're obviously only good for one hit. It's just like smoking from a shitty metal pipe... except you have to constantly refill it if you want to have a decent sesh. Good thing is it is pretty inconspicious looking.
