Thread: what does it mean if my white blood cell count is high?

i recentally went to the doctor (gyno) and had all kinds of tests ran and everything came back all good except i have a high white blood cell count and a spot on my cervix that my doctor is worried about does anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong? i havent been sick or anything like that either

I have had the same problem! Dr. hasn't done anything and I got frustrated and tired of going!

I have been struggling with a high white blood cell count for a few months and recently I also started to get a lot of panic attacks. I don't know if there associated with this, but know I fear the worst. I have done a little bit of online research and did find out that High stress, smoking, caffine, and infection are commen in high white blood cell count. I am also getting a CT scan done to rule out cancer or tumors in the head. I suggest if you have any of the causes I listed you should really get to a doctor that would brush it off. My current doctor doen't seem to put to much concern to the way I feel. So I am going to a different one to get a second opinion. I really hope you all get this treated really fast because its scary. My white cell count is at 14000 when it should be at or below 10000. It keeps jumping beck and forth. I do think though that the caffine and smoking my be playing a huge roll in it.
