Thread: what does it feel like when a ovary cyst burst?

Hi< I went to the Dr. the other day been having pain in lower half of my stomach all across kinda like a achey constant cramping feeling after a few days it also started hurting in my left hip? I was sitting I thought something must of bit me it just started burning stinging a deep achey feeling , went to the bathroom to look at my hip, Nothing there, its not red or anything but I could'nt even touch it ! DR.said it was refered pain from my pelvic pain. Anyways how will I know If the Cyst burst is there a way I can Tell. Thanks everyone

I've had an ovarian cyst form twice before, and I think the pain was caused from it being attached on there, and growing in size. Then, after it burst the pain slowly subsided.

well it will hurt...something new happening in the body is not good...so it will hurrrrt!! just like how an appendix bursts...but u should ask a doc..

honestly my mom has the same problem as you do
my mom gets depo shots to shrink her cysts

its Not a good thing, it could possibly make you infertile
