Thread: What are the chances of dying before getting old?

by "old," i mean the age my little "Life Calculator" says i'm going to reach, which is 83. is there a statistic somewhere that shows how likely it is that someone will make it to that age without being reckless?

It's very difficult, because statistics kinda 'lie', in that they are looked at in a skewed manner.

Your best bet is to read the obituaries in your local paper for a while.
That's a pretty good indicator, and I've done it.
It's scary how many younger people die all the time! It's not just old people!
