Thread: what causes eating disorders?

i am bulimic with some anorexic tendencies...what causes this i want some reason to why i do this to myself.. it feels like i have to please help me

you feel fat.
and you're now addicted to it.
get help, please.
and as i say on every bulimics question- don't hurt your friends, you can tell them... i just knew a bulimic and she just went... extremely bad...

- insecurity about your image
- you need control...everything in your life may not be the way you want it to be, but your weight and image is something you can control yourself
- the desire to be perfect physically

it may be because of the media or the peer pressure from the people around you...

Viewing your body shape/size/type as inferior to the models you may have seen in many magazines/t.v./movies could do it.
It could also be a chemical inbalance.
