Thread: What is the cause and how can I get rid of my frequent bladder infections?

I've been getting bladder infections since I was little. When I turned about 17 they started to become more frequent. I talked to my doctor and he prescribed a low dosage of antibiotics to get rid of an underlying infection. Well I have been taking the antibiotics for about 6 months and I have had 3 UTIs since then. I take all of the proper precautions to prevent them. I drink plenty of water, I'll drink one or two glasses of 100% cranberry juice a day, I no longer drink soda or any really sugary drinks. It is really becoming a pain! Also, I always wipe from front to back, wear cotton underwear, and urinate before and after intercourse. I'm setting up another appointment with my doctor to see what the problem is. I just want to have some other opinions. I'm afraid I have something serious wrong with me!

Do you wear tight jeans? Sometimes that can do it.
