What can i do to bulk up while working out?

So I am 17 years old and am very thin for my height. I am 5'8 and weigh 120lbs. I have recently began going to the gym everyday. Ive noticed allot of definition but i am looking to bulk up. What are the best ways to work out, and how often should i be resting between workouts?

I had heard somewhere that to bulk up you need to lift more weight and have more rest between workouts. Is this true? What should i do?

If you want to bulk up you need to lift hard and lift heavy. Keep your rep range less than 8. And the most important thing is to make sure you eat a lot...mostly protein.
