    ugh.. gestational diabetes..im so confused?

Ok, so i just got the call from my ob... I have failed my 3 hour gestational diabetes test. (I also failed my 1 hour test, my level was over 200). So i am going to the doctor and then the the nurse & dietician this week. my ob said that my gluecose level (from my 3 hour test) was 145-ish. What is the average gluecose level for a pregnant woman? I am a little confused... Please give me any info you can! THANKS!
Oh- I am 28.5 weeks pregnant with #2
My first baby was 10lb 3.5oz and i did NOT have G.D.
    I am 23 years old.

    I had a c-section with #1, planning a c-section with this baby also.

OK, relax. You are borderline. 145 is not too bad and 200, well that is not good. When you see the dietitian he/she will recommend a low sugar/salt diet as well as low carbs. Since your glucose counts are not too high it is likely this will pass after your child is born. Do the right thing for the rest of your pregnancy for you and the baby. Good luck.
