Thread: Is it true that 1-800-dentist is a scam?

They are brainwashing people to distrust ant dentist that is not referred by them or is part of a group. There is such a thing as "conspiracy of silence" and they are effectively isolating any dentist who doesn't follow the code of silence.
There is a dentist on every corner, why do any one need this sham organization to decide who is a good dentist?

If a dentist is bad, why does he still have a license to operate?

1-800-DENTIST is less nefarious than a scam. It's obsolete. I tried their website on a whim, and was asked to enter my city to receive a list of local dentists but the website did not recognize "new orleans" and returned no results. "new orleans, la" and "New Orleans, La." proved equally useless. It did finally recognize "New Orleans, LA." And returned two dentists. Of course any decent search engine will give a nearly comprehensive list when fed "dentist nrw orlwans." One did and I called a few of the nearest offices. I didn't bother with the two also listed on 1-800-DENTIST
