I read this statement on the internet - "Physicians who advocate more sun say vitamin D made with sunshine never reaches toxic levels. "Vitamin D gets to the useful level, then the sunshine destroys the surplus," he says."" Does anyone know at what level of iu in the body does the sunshine start to destroy the surplus - i.e.what is the maximum level of Vitamin D the body can tolerate for a few weeks, months or years without some damage taking place? ( Here I'm not thinking about the damage sunburn can do, but the damage an excess of Vitamin D supplements taken orally might cause.)
