Thread: Toes turning blue in cast and leg tingling?

well i broke my leg in 3 places and i have this splint on untill i get my sugery, then i go into a real cast,
but when i stand up, mi leg feels all tingling and it turns purple.
it did this before and the splint was to tight so i had to get a new one,

so is it because it's to tight or i'm not elivating it enough?

You need to go back to your doctor as it seems like you've got poor circulation from the splint being on too tight. Do this ASAP!

Probably both. But it could be that your leg is swollen which is making the cast tighter.
