Is there something wrong with me?

It seems I am always tired, whether I get four hours of sleep or twelve. i don't always sleep at the same time, or for the same length of time. And even though I am so tired, i still have troubles falling asleep at night, even though my room is completely dark and very quiet at night. also, whether these are related or not, i find i am also always thirsty, and i do drink a lot of milk, juice, and water every day.

Basically, i want to know if that is weird, and i should go to the doctor, or if the doctor will just tell me to sleep better and drink more water??

Insomnia can be a symptom of other things. Depression, for example, often has a component of disordered sleep to it, and so do various other medical conditions. Good sleep is essential to your health, though, and I would seek medical advice about your exhaustion. If one doctor doesn't take you seriously, seek anothers' opinion.
