Thread: Tampons questions?

Please only answer the following if you are POSITIVE!.

Im on a swim team with 7-12 people.Ive only used pads and not really sure about a few things,so I need a lot of help !

My questions are-
1)How to use tampons?
2)Will they come out in water?
3)Will blood come OUT while im swimming?

4)Is there 100% percent chance that blood wont come out/leak through bathing suit?

My swim is 3 days a week(Tues,Wed,Fri) and im SUPPOSED to start my period next tuesday,so i really need to get this stuff straight!Thanks!

if u wear a tampon blood CANT get in the water so ull be safe if u wear it

When you buy tampons, there's instuctions on the package on how to insert them. I have never heard of any situation where blood leaks out, but to be sure, insert it right before you swim, leaving it in for the shortest amount of time possible. And as long as you dont plan in urinating in the water, no blood will come out.
