ive had a swollen lymph node in my neck for about 4 months.the first dr,said it felt small,it was probally infection....i never went for blood tests though because i switched dr's.I then went to an internal medicine dr ,he started feeling my neck, then right away he said my traps(muscles)were really tense....i fgured cause i had noticed a big hump...he explained something about my muscles being so tense they making it easier to feel the node.my husband understood the concept.but i find it a little weird.should i be more concerned?when i mentioned lymphoma or cancer to the nurse and dr,they both kin of chuckled he said that that would be extremly rare, like it wasnt likely.so,am i worrying for nothing, should i demand bloodwork,or just be feeling it was he able to tell it was nothing.ive never had a swollen one before,so it seems kind of odd

btw,i cant feel it when my neck is straight, just when i bend my head even slightly forward,or when i feel in the skin for it.
