any help for skin problem ?

well the problem started when i found my the upper of my cheeks near my eyes very dry though i have an oily skin so i used the moisturising cream i use for my hand and put it on my face for a week skin not dry anymore but redness area appeared & i discovered later that this cream not for facial use unfortunately anyway i ceased it at once but 2 weeks passed and still redness marks are there and look terrible just like red lines under my eyes ..any help?
