    Does anyone know if wearing heels on a daily basis really affect the...

    ...health of your feet in the future? Because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE heels! I work at a high-end fashion retail place that sort of requires that I wear them everyday, so that's one reason that I wear them, and also I love the way heels make everything look better!

    Yes, that can make your feet so unaligned in the future and cause many problems...too much of one thing is never good.

    over time high heels will shorten your achilles tendon, and can indeed cause bunions, suggest that when you are not at work you walk around barefoot or in flats as much as possible.

    yes, they are not that great for long term, but since the ladies love them and will never ditch them (its okay cuz i luv them too, lol), here are a few simple rules to follow;

    dont wear any really high heels daily, at least not at work. think of it this way, while your at work, for like 40 hrs a week, you should consider wearing medium heels at most, except for maybe once in a while, when you really want to wear that sexy high heel, then go for it. as long as its not that often then youll be less likely to have negative side effects. also save the really sexy high heels for nights out and other events, where your not likely to be stuck in them for 8 hours plus.

    2. this is a big one. if your gonna wear them (and we know you are, lol), stay in shape and healthy (not fat). any extra weight will really take a toll on your feet, especially as you get older. if your feet hurt now after a day at work, imagine being 20 lbs heavier. all that weight and stress goes right to your feet.
