    Headache for 3 days now?

I have had a headache for about 3 days now. It's pretty much constant, although I get an occasional short break here and there. It's started as a feeling of pressure in my forehead and has now expanded to a constant ache around my eyes. From everything i read on the internet, it sounds related to sinus problems, but i have no green nasal discharge or any other symptoms of a sinus infection. However, my mom came down with a really bad cold 3 days ago (i had spent the days prior with her) and then my daugher must have got a touch of it, but it never turned into a full blown cold, just runny nose and lots of sneezing. I have felt extremely fatigued since then as well, around the time my headache started. My mom also mentioned that she had a headache for about 3 days when her cold started. I have no other symptoms of a cold though. I'm just really tired with a headache. Does this sound like it be viral or something else? I should also mention that I'm under quite a bit of stress right now, but I've never gotten headaches due to stress in the past, and normally any headaches I do get due to anything subside within a couple hours, especially if I take ibuprofen-which i have tried and it only takes the edge off for about an hour and then it's back. Any ideas?

Also want to mention that I'd like to avoid going to the doctor if possible because I don't have health insurance. So of course I'm not asking for a definite diagnosis over the internet, just any ideas would be appreciated.

Im thinking tumor or mono. It is probably some virus if it is causing these symptoms. Resting for a few days....... if it doesn't get much better than go to a doctor, web md, or call a nurse and sometimes they can walk you through steps.
