I am getting my feet molded to get orthotics for plantar fasciitis today. What is this like, and do you get them the same day?

Would someone tell me about getting orthotics made?

Years ago I got orthotics. They just cast your feet in a mold, let it dry, then you get the orthotics in a few weeks.
There may be new procedure now with computer imaging\that is even simpler and faster.
