Buying contact lenses you are not prescribed for?

I am new to contact lenses and I have been given a prescription for Acuvue Oasys, I wanted to try a different brand that cheaper online but I'm not sure if my prescription means I am only able to buy Acuvue Oasys? Do I need to be fitted for every time I want to try another brand?

Nope, as far as I know it's fine. As long as you have then same number like -1.75 or something you can try any brand you like Obviously if you want to check it out with you Opticians then I'm sure they'll tell you all that you need to know.

    Hope this helps,
    xx
