I was teaching a step aerobics class this morning and heard a pop in my calf,

and had to stop immediately.? I am only able to walk on the tip of my toe and very slowly, I asked a friend of mine who is a 3rd year PT student and she said the way I describe the injury (about three inches lower then my knee and on the inside of my right calf) it's not the achilies tendon. What should I do?

It is definitely a tendon problem.

Take Ibuprofen, ice it daily and STAY OFF OF IT. Usually with this type of injury the more you are on it the worse it gets.
Avoid those classes until you get it repaired.

The Ibuprofen will help heal the swelling and inflammation that occurs with injuries.

    Good Luck.
