    DOG HELP...my dog's anal sac ruptured....help!?

we took her to the vet had most of it drained and we got antibiotics and everything else she needs, but for the past two days she's barely eaten, she's scared to go for walks and she's been sleeping all day and night....she just seems sad

has this happened to anyone's dog? is it normal for her to be acting like this? how long before the rupture is healed??

any advice from people who've been through this would be great

    thank you

If she is a small dog, you can spoon feed her baby food, Jr.Dinners, with a small spoon of plain canned pumpkin and a small spoon of plain yogurt stirred in..
Offer her low sodium canned chicken broth to get her drinking.
This should get her to poop painless soft stools, shortly.
