Another weird question..?

I was reading a story today about this chick, and she had to do counsoling because she ate period blood and clots and stuff.
Is there something to call that? I just thought it was crazy and I wanted to know because it said nothing about it. I don't really remember what the story was called.

Please PLEASE no stupid answers that aren't answering my question. Things like "I don't know" Or "That's gross!" Those REALLY don't help.
