Thread: Should I be worried about this cold when I'm on prednisone?

I get a cold and cough every year around this time, but it seems a little more severe this year and it's not clearing up. Is it just because that's how these things go sometimes, or could it be related to the prednisone I started taking a couple months ago? I don't have health insurance right now so I don't want to make an unnecessary doctor's visit, but I don't want to put it off if it's likely to be serious. Any thoughts?
