I have been hospitalized 3 times in two months for treatments for my Severe Asthma & Acute Bronchitis. Twice this year i had several mucous plugs removed from my lungs each procedure. My Critical Care Lung Specialist and he told me i keep having Bronchospasms. What exactly is that?
Now he has me on Theophylline & Singulair pills & , A high-dose of Medrol, 3 different types of inhalers (Symbicort, Combivent, Asmanex) & 5 breathing treatments a day at home on my nebulizer. I can't stand up or be active for longer than 5 minutes or i will pass out. My doctor told me i have a lack of Oxygen. My Asthma isn't getting better he told me there isn't anything else he could do for me but see my once a week and keep an eye on me. I have seen other lung & asthma doctors who told me there was nothing more they could do for me either. Are they giving up on me? It costs me .oo a week co-pay to see him plus over 0.00 for the Co-Pays for my Asthma Meds. I am going in the poor house and not feeling better at all.

I don't Smoke or Drink and i am otherwise pretty healthy except for having GERD..
