Yes, I put neutrogena salycic acid on in the morning and shave, and the evening, i do the same and put on 2.5percent benzoyl peroxide to clear my acne. I just started, will it probably work? thanks

When it comes to the skin on your face I would not recommend self medicating. There is a greater chance of you ending up with scars. I do not know if what you are doing has been recommended by a dermatologist, but if not, rather go and see one before you try home remedies and stuff. Simply drying out the acne on the surface will not help- it may in fact irritate your skin and cause you further problems. Rather talk to a professional!
