My mother was recently in the hospital for a relapse of MS. During her exam, the doctor said she had thready heart sounds. He put her on oxygen, and he put her on an IV of potassium chloride. When I asked about it, he said it was nothing to worry about. What aren't her doctors telling us? Is it something we should be worried about?
