i was reading today that tampon usage could actually be bad for you because it may contain toxins in the bleach they use to whiten the tampons. i use tampons all the time and i was wondering if i should stop. what's your opinion?

no , tampons are safe, what isnt safe is how some people leave one in there way to long
you should constantly be changing them, and keeping your "area" clean
When I am 'heavy' i change them once ever hour-to 2 hours
NEVER pee with them in! thats something I know some girls do--not cool
one of my friends would wear a pad and use a tampon, leave the tampon in for like--the whole school day, so 8am-3 pm--thats not good
