    is it possible to not hav the ability to fart?

    my friend said that she doesn't have the ability to and never has and i was just wondering if it was possible

    it's not possible. the only thing that a person doesn't fart is if he/she has some gastro-intestinal disorder. He/she should see a doctor because this might be a serious case. Patients in the hospital are usually asked if they have farted or have bowel movement everyday. If they haven't done any for a day, it is something to be worried about.

    It is impossible to not have the ability..
    If she couldnt, her body would explode from pressures from gastric gases.
    Its a natural "release valve"
