    Possible Heart Issue?

The other night, right when I was dozing off, I woke up suddenly with my heart beating faster than if I had just ran a mile. It took a few minutes to slow down. Naturally, I'm a little frightened about this. I am obese (6 foot 3 inches, 300 pounds) so I know that may be some of it, but I'm trying to lose weight. I'm a fairly big soda drinker, could the sugar from drinking too much have been the problem?

    Thanks!

It's probably the amount of soda you're drinking, soda contains a lot of sugar and acids which can always pump the body and give you a sugar rush causing your heart to beat fast at random times. Best solution here is to cut back on the soda and get active my friend. =]
